I have had a good experience taking my car to Whyte's. Knowledgeable, timely, friendly service. I don't like having to have the catalytic converter replaced but if I have to have it done (which I had put off for a year), I'm glad to know I can take it to a place that does good work and is trustworthy. Honest as others have said. Last summer while on vacation I had to bring my car to another garage when a brake caliper hung. That garage told me I also had a hole in my exhaust and needed a $1250 full replacement. There was a slight noise from it, but I knew I had whytes replace 1/2 that system the previous year and felt they were scamming me. I did not have them do the work. When I got back I took it to Whyte's and Jim told me it was a $12 gasket in the system which he replaced on 1/2 an hours labor. No more noise, no issues since, and certainly no thousand dollar repair needed.
Mr. Whyte and his employees are honest, fast and helpful. They are always willing to explain which repairs are needed and why. When money is tight they let you know which repairs are necessary for safety and which can wait.
