A corner of my tooth broke off. A dentist in Cortland told me it needed a root canal, and talked to me as if I was stupid. I went to Wilson Dental in Freeville to get a second opinion. This dentist took an X-ray, and took an extra moment to explain the situation and the different options and how she was making her decision. She believed the tooth needed a crown. She gave me a very good price on the crown. So I have a crown on the tooth, and several months later the tooth is fine. I've also gone to this dentist for a regular check-up and cleaning. I've been completely pleased with this dentist, she obviously really cares about the dental health of her patients.

The girls at the counter are really nice however. I got a final notice in the mail for $29 that no one at Wilson Dental could explain. I check to see if i have a balance due each time i leave and this "final notice" was the first time i had received anything about this mystery charge. There main billing office treats you like trash when you call. Literally every 5 second I'm talking about why i disagree with the issues there person on the other line is stuck on repeatedly saying "ok ok ok ok ok ok" . Clearly zero damns are giving by this office and they couldn't wait to get me of the line. I'm giving them 2 stars only because the receptionists are pleasant.

I was very happy with them the first time we went, HOWEVER, I drive over an hour to see this dentist and we were stuck in traffic. I tried to call for about 10 minutes as I was stuck in traffic. They never answered the phone...it never went to voice mail. We pulled in 10mins late and the dentist left 10 mins after my appointment time. I am so disgusted I have to reschedule for my daughter and have wasted over two hours of driving time...time for a new dentist near me!!!:/

Wilson dental was recommended to me by my parents. The ladies in there are wonderful and the lady dentist was patient and answered all of my questions about my upcoming oral procedure. I have severe anxiety and have never been comfortable in a dentists office like I do here. My children also like the blonde hygienist who was so caring and sweet with my autistic son. Very pleased with the care we receive there

My son and I were patients at this location when first Dr. Seeley and then Dr. Kang were there and really liked both dentists and their staff. The practice is now unrecognizable and not just because all of the old staff is gone. Our two appointments for simple cleanings and exams which were supposed to take a total of one hour took two hours - most of that time spent waiting and, for thirty minutes, filling out more paperwork while waiting to be seen than I'd filled out when I was a new patient there over ten years ago (twelve pages in total!) There are also a number of new policies (no discounts for cash and credit payments on the day of service for one) and a new dentist (she's been there a year and a half now?) whose exams have always been cursory at best (this is the third time we've seen her) and whose temper gets in the way of care. In the past, you could pass on having an x-ray if there was no clear need for one. Now you MUST have an x-ray every year and a half (the ADA recommends every 2 to 3 years for adults) or the dentist will not examine your teeth and may even kick you out of the practice - in my case this applied even though it was the first time I'd passed on x rays since I'd had them there just a year and a half before, had had a cleaning and exam just over six months before, and had had no problems with my teeth which have always been strong and cavity free. You don't find out about the new policy until you try to pass on having x-rays so I found myself signing the "refusal" form before I had time to realize I wouldn't be coming out ahead of what I had already paid into a discount plan which covered cleanings, x-rays, and exams if I only had my teeth cleaned. With the plan, all would be covered 100%. With only the cleaning, I would have paid more to the discount plan than I would have paid the dental office if I paid them directly. When I told them I had changed my mind and why, I was informed it didn't matter as the dentist now refused to examine my teeth no matter what I did (apparently she was mad at me now as I'd questioned the new policy or was it she was mad at the policy herself? either way she was going to take it out on me). She barely glanced at my son's x-rays or in his mouth when she "examined" his teeth and didn't ask if we had any questions or concerns so I have to wonder about the value of having either x-rays or exams done there anyway. We won't EVER be going back there again even if she -allows- us to. I want a dentist who clearly cares about us and our care and who I can trust to be calm and clearheaded if we should ever need her services in an emergency.
